About PAC

Patti is a native Oregonian. As a university exchange student, she travelled to Germany, fell in love with the European way of life and has remained since. She is currently living in Berlin, Germany. In addition to having a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oregon, she also completed her Journeyman education as a Cabinet Maker in Munich.

Over 30 years ago she taught herself to metalsmith custom-made jewelry in gold and silver as a hobby. She used this metal for hinges, drawer knobs, and inlayed work when building her hand-crafted wooden jewelry boxes. She gave many pieces of jewelry / boxes to her family and friends together with a “Birth Certificate” that explained her thoughts when designing the jewelry, material and stone/s used as well as the stone’s proposed healing properties. Her architect husband designs many of her jewelry pieces.

After a while, and as an alternative to woodworking/jewelry making, Patti decided to learn how to knit. At that time, there were no patterns readily available for left-handed knitters, so she learned to re-design the instructions to compensate. This flexibility helped Patti progress from knitting pullovers, scarves and socks to teddy bears, zoo/farm animals and more complicated figures. Patti bases many of her knitted creations on patterns by the designer Alan Dart, (https://www.alandart.co.uk/), which she often personalizes to add her own individual touches, as well as designing her own patterns and knitting instructions. She is often asked to knit creations according to special wishes or to resemble beloved pets, or creations that resemble fantasy and fairytale creatures.

If you have specific wishes for your own individual creation you can contact her via the email address: info@pac-artistic-creations.com or via the "Contact" form available in this website or www.Etsy.com.
